Sprouted Cook

Hello! Thank you for being interested in learning a little about me and why I’m so passionate about cooking. I started this blog in 2018 and am so excited to share many of my personal favorites along with some new recipes. I did teach myself how to cook many years ago in Minnesota and have been perfecting my techniques and recipes for over 30 years. Hence why I decided on the name "Sprouted Cook". I now live in Florida with my husband of 29 years. We have two adult children and two grandbabies and another on the way! So you can see why I love to cook. It brings your family together. My favorite thing to hear is, “Mom can you please make your famous chili?” Yes….that will be my first personal recipe I post. I do love to read up on good clean foods, nutrition and trying new recipes. I hope my pictures and videos inspire you to get into the kitchen and try something new! I believe that cooking should be fun and easy enough to tailor recipes to fit your family needs. I believe in eating good clean foods that are as close to what nature intended them to be. I love to customize recipes with the busy family in mind along with the occasional sit down fancy meals with family and friends. I believe in the four F’s of cooking….Family, Friends, Food and Fun!! After all, that IS what makes cooking enjoyable. So lets get in the kitchen and cook up some fun! I’ll meet you there!
